We have began a bi-monthly outreach to the young people who hang out at the skate park. We take down a BBQ and hot dogs with tons of soda to give away and just start sharing the Kingdom. I’ve never experienced young people who are willing to chat so much, even though we have only just began we have a number of relationships forming and have had some exciting opportunities to share Jesus.
God has also been directing people to pray at the same location at Two Rivers Park, which seems to be a hub of life in Glenwood. We have started meeting on Friday’s to walk and pray through the park. So far God has been revealing some specific themes that are directing us how to pray for our valley.
It can be hard when you make a move somewhere new and you don’t know how long you will live there. But Emily and I are learning to invest our lives wherever we are sent because we know that wherever we are sent we are placed with purpose. We have began to meet more and more like minded people. people who have been called here for a time such as this. Its exciting to listen to people expressing the very things that God is also revealing us personally. We both love it here and love what God is doing here.
