Our move

The Roaring Fork Valley
This fall at The Call in San Diego the Lord released our family from YWAM to move back to my (Emily's) home town of Glenwood Springs, CO. It is beautiful here. When we stared to get ready to come God reminded me of a word that he had given me here after I spent a summer in The South working with hurricane victims. In the South we were awaken a lot in the night time and during those midnight hours we would do spiritual warfare for the area that we were in. When I first got home I woke in the middle of the night and just felt quitness around. I asked God what was happening in the Spirit realm here and he told me that the enemy had set up his system here and it was working (within money, new age stuff, the mountains taking the glory with the people not God). I asked Him when the battle was going to begin and we would see this land taken back for God it's creator. He told me that we would see the battle, people walking away from Him because of the battle and compromise in their lives, and people filled with the Holy Spirit moving in and seeking God's face in this valley. I started praying for this move of God to happen and when we were packing up our little house in LA I felt the Lord tell me that we were answering that prayer that I was praying. Now we are back and being with with people from here seeking His face here, and people who have moved to the valley and are seeking revival here . The church that we are back at (Christ Community Church) is being lead by a new pastor named Jim Tarr who is seeking and leading the church to seek for that revival too! So exciting!

Jonny is in the process of getting his green card right now so he is not working and is enjoying getting to know the new area, church and life in the mountains. I am back at my school that I use to work at, The Early Learning Center. I love it so much. I am working with three and four year olds' that make me laugh everyday and with two great co teachers that I am learning a lot from. The last three years we have been learning a lot about being under leaders ( which we grew so much being under our great leaders in LA Kenny and Rebekah). These teaching that we had make me even more grateful for my bosses Sara and Henreitte. They are wonderful women who love children so much and that is why they are in this job. They are so supportive of their teachers and help us in every way to become better teachers.

God has brought us to such a great place in this transition. We are loving seeking Him in a more personal way for our family. We feel so rested and excited to see what He is doing in this new season and new ground for us!
